About University Senate

The Senate is the academic governing body of the University. The Venerable Vice Chancellor serves both as a member and the Chairman of the Senate. Its membership includes all Deans, Heads of Departments, Professors, faculty representatives, and five members appointed by the Council from other state universities. The Senate comprises 33 members.
